Interview with Author Robert A. Hunt

Question 1 - Why did you decide to write this story?

Answer - I started writing the Coalmont Legend and in it, as I researched this town, I began to find a lot of legend material circling the Sasquatch Phenomena. When I dived into Sasquatch research I was compelled to have my legend series based around this universe with three totally different stories with Sasquatch in them.

Question 2 - Have you ever personally had a Bigfoot encounter?

Answer - I have had moment when I heard something from the forest  or seen something that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. It always turned out to be just a fallen branch, a bird and once I mistook the fur of a deer's butt to be a Sasquatch arm. I wish at the time that I had taken a picture of it. The sight of it was compelling, then it moved.

My Friend Big Foot and me.

Another Great Review of "The Crater Mountain Sasquatch Legend."

Review by: Laurie Champion on May 05, 2015 :
I love to read Bigfoot and Sasquatch stories, both fiction and non-fiction. I totally enjoyed this book. It had it's little grammar errors, especially in the first part but then it straightened out and evolved into an engrossing story that I wanted to keep reading. I like the fact that the author tried to do something different with this book than the usual spin. Most Sasquatch tales usually either present them as cuddly, gentle, hairy humans or horrible blood thirsty monsters. This book captured their ability to be dangerous simply because of their size and strength, while keeping them somewhat human like in their nature. I feel this is a more realistic portrayal than the other two extremes that are most popular in this genre. The scene where a Sasquatch destroys a cabin shows the absolute power of these creatures, and also how out of place they would be in our little world. Because the book takes a turn towards science fiction with the alien connection, I did not give it five stars simply because I hate alien stories to be honest. Nevertheless I did enjoy this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes Sasquatch stories. The book also includes a bonus chapter which is always a nice touch to me.

Oh boy I loved this great book! I recieved a copy of this book through GoodReads. The storyline could of been right here in Northeast WA. I just had to read this little gem in one sitting. I found myself right in the cave with Trevor. I am looking forward to reading books 2 and 3. I found a few editing misses that threw me off a bit, but I will assume they will be corrected before final release.
